Ain't No Haint Gonna Run Me Off

Ain’t No Haint Gonna Run Me Off

When a ghost (or is it an alien?) tries to scare Jumpin' Gene Simmons out of the house he just bought, Gene doesn’t need to call Ghostbusters, he handles the situation himself.

“Haunted House” was written by record producer Bob Geddins and first recorded by West Coast bluesman Johnny Fuller in 1958. Simmons (not to be confused with the bassist from Kiss) released his version in 1964. Interestingly, Simmons altered the lyrics from “Ain’t no bum gonna run me off” to the much better “Ain’t no haint gonna run me off.”
